Vitamin D3 - what is it and how does it work?

Vitamin D3 - otherwise known as cholecalciferol. It is a fat-soluble, so-called ''sunshine vitamin'' - which is mainly synthesised in our skin during exposure to sunlight. It is worth supplementing, especially in autumn and winter when there is less and less sunshine. Its main sources in food are marine fish, eggs, milk and vegetable oils. Among other things, it is responsible for maintaining the correct level of calcium in the blood and calcium-phosphate metabolism and thus for maintaining healthy bones, teeth and muscles. In addition, it supports the proper functioning of the immune system. It also regulates the body's calcium-phosphate balance maintaining correct levels of calcium in the blood. It influences the proper functioning of muscles. It takes an important part in the process of division of our cells.

Suggested usage

Healthy adults up to 75 years of age - suck 1 tablet daily, after a meal; healthy adults over 75 years of age - suck 2 tablets after a meal. This product is intended for adults. Consumption in excessive amounts may have a laxative effect.

Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. The dietary supplement cannot be used as a substitute (replacement) for a varied diet. A balanced diet and healthy lifestyle is recommended.
