Vitamin D3 and K2 - what role do they play?

Vitamin D3 - otherwise known as cholecalciferol. Its main dietary sources are marine fish, eggs, milk and vegetable oils. Supports the function of the immune system. Maintains healthy bones and teeth. Supports the body's calcium and phosphate metabolism and maintains the correct level of calcium in the blood. Influences the proper functioning of muscles. Takes an important part in the process of division of our cells.

Vitamin K2 - otherwise known as Menaquinone. The richest sources of vitamin K are green-coloured vegetables that contain a high amount of chlorophyll, including: broccoli, kale, spinach, Brussels sprouts, lettuce, rocket, lamb's lettuce, cabbage or asparagus. It is synthesized by bacteria present in the intestines. It is involved in many physiological processes in the human body. Suggested usage

Healthy adults up to 75 years of age - suck 1 tablet daily, after a meal; healthy adults over 75 years of age - suck 2 tablets after a meal. This product is intended for adults. Consumption in excessive amounts may have a laxative effect.

Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. The dietary supplement cannot be used as a substitute (replacement) for a varied diet. A balanced diet and healthy lifestyle is recommended. Do not consume if you are allergic to any of the product ingredients. Before use, it is advisable to carry out a 25-(OH)D test in the blood and consult the test result with your doctor or pharmacist. The product should not be used by children and nursing mothers or people taking anticoagulants containing vitamin K Antagonists (e.g. warfarin and acenocoumarol).
