BPC - 157

BPC 157 is a stable gastric pentadecapeptide that exhibits anti-ulcer and wound/fistula healing properties. BPC 157 reduces immediate and delayed damage to the brain caused by injury and improves nerve regeneration after transection. BPC 157 has an anxiolytic and antidepressant effect. BPC 157 promotes proliferation, migration and tubular formation of human umbilical vein endothelial cells by activating ERK phosphorylation.

BPC 157 is an intestinal peptide and has free radical scavenging properties. This peptide stimulates the production of nitric oxide synthase and therefore provides gastric cytoprotection. Unlike other peptides, BPC 157 is effective without a carrier. It is involved in muscle healing and is used in the treatment of gastrocnemius syndrome.
